A gift card exchange built around verification
We started GiftCardsSell because selling a gift card online usually means guessing the price, handing over a code and hoping for the best. We rebuilt the process so the seller sees the number first and approves the redemption last.
What we do
GiftCardsSell buys unused and partially used gift card balances from sellers across the United States. We support 120+ major retail, dining, travel and entertainment brands, and pay electronically through PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay and ACH bank transfer. We never pay cash and never arrange in-person meetings.
How we operate
Every card goes through the same four checks: balance verification, ownership review, seller authorization and redemption. Those checks run in that order on every single transaction. If a card fails a check, the submission is rejected and the card is not redeemed.
Our rates are published openly on the rates page, and the payout you are shown at submission is the payout we work from. If the verified balance differs from what was entered, we recalculate at the same rate and ask you before proceeding.
