Screening on every submission
Each submission is checked for card validity and live balance, duplicate or previously submitted codes, brand eligibility, unusual submission velocity from the same seller, device and network risk signals, and mismatches between seller and payout identity.
Ownership review
Where signals suggest a card may not have been lawfully obtained, we pause the submission and may request proof of purchase, a receipt, a photo of the physical card, or identity verification. We will not redeem the card while a review is open.
Rejection
We reject submissions involving stolen or fraudulently obtained cards, cards reported by a retailer, tampered or manipulated codes, cards already redeemed or already sold elsewhere, and sellers who provide false information.
GiftCardsSell reserves the right to reject any suspicious submission without providing detailed reasoning, in order to protect the integrity of our fraud controls.
Reporting and cooperation
Confirmed fraudulent submissions may be reported to the issuing retailer, payment providers and law enforcement, and relevant records may be shared with them as permitted or required by law.
Protecting sellers
We never contact sellers asking for additional card codes, passwords, one-time codes or remote access to their device. We never offer cash or in-person meetings. If someone contacts you claiming to be GiftCardsSell and asks for any of these, report it to support@giftcardssell.com.
