Accepted cards
We accept unused and partially used U.S.-issued gift cards from the brands listed on our rates page, provided the remaining balance is within that brand's published minimum and maximum.
Both digital (e-gift) and physical cards are accepted. For physical cards you must provide the code and, where applicable, the PIN.
Balance requirements
Enter the remaining balance, not the original face value. Cards with a zero balance are rejected. Balances above a brand's maximum can sometimes be split across submissions — contact support first.
Cards we cannot accept
Expired cards, cards with a scratched-off or unreadable code, promotional or reward cards with usage restrictions, store credit or merchandise return cards, employee discount cards, cards already listed or sold on another platform, and cards issued outside the United States.
We also cannot accept cards subject to a retailer hold, dispute or chargeback.
One submission per card
Each card code may be submitted once. Duplicate submissions are automatically detected and rejected, and repeated duplicates may lead to a permanent block.
Requesting a brand
If your brand is not listed, email support@giftcardssell.com. We regularly add brands based on demand and can often quote unlisted brands manually.
